Patented skanfog technology
Fast and safe H2O2 decontamination cycle thanks to patented technology.
Increased productivity
Spacious airlock and fast transfer increase productivity
Smart Integration
No connection to the building exhaust air necessary, thanks to the integrated SKAN nanox catalytic converter and easy to install "plug and play" solution
Modular and space-saving design
Enables the best laboratory planning, outstanding ergonomics & excellent working conditions
The small isolator from SKAN has all the features of a large project isolator and also impresses with its compact design.
Thanks to the new, automated and patented SKANFOG decontamination technology, either the airlocks or the work area can be nebulized with the decontamination agent hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 ). In contrast to vaporization, micro-misting protects the built-in filters, reduces the amount of hydrogen peroxide required and significantly speeds up the decontamination process.
The H2O2 is decomposed by the SKAN NANOX catalyst integrated in the isolator, which enables autonomous operation in the laboratory independent of building connections. Only electricity and compressed air connections are required to operate the isolator.
The housing of the pure² is made of robust ABS plastic, while the working chamber and the material lock are made of stainless steel. As a result, there are only a few seams and the smooth surface is easy to clean.
The isolator meets the applicable regulatory and normative requirements and the containment complies with all cleanroom classes, in accordance with cGMP class A and ISO class 5 as per ISO 14644.
Other features of the pure² include the 9" color touchscreen, the safe storage of hydrogen peroxide in the isolator, the double HEPA H14 filtration with a separation efficiency of 99.995% and the alarm indicator. This consists of a red light which lights up clearly visible in the working area in the event of an alarm.
The working chamber can be ordered in two sizes, either with two or four glove openings. The glove testing system tailored to the pure² is available as an option.
The isolator can be used in many areas, including pharmaceutical biotech laboratories, pharmacies, research & development, the medical sector and biosafety laboratories at all levels.
Typical applications for the laboratory isolator include carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic substances (CMR), parenteral nutrition (TPN), cytotoxics, antivirals, antineoplastic chemotherapeutics, quality control and cell therapy.
