perform® sterile mucasol

Outstanding cleaning performance with perform® sterile mucasol

The new standard in alkaline cleaning in A/B sterile areas

Powerful, alkaline, sterile.

Safe wipe-cleaning of surfaces in the workplace is essential in many sectors, particularly in
drug manufacturing. Especially when patient-specific preparations of cytostatics or monoclonal antibodies are being manufactured in sterile areas.

Instruction for use and Composition

  • 100 g solution contains the following active ingredients: < 5% phosphates (tripotassium orthophosphate)

  • Apply undiluted to a cloth or objects and surfaces and wipe.
  • After cleaning, rinse objects and surfaces thoroughly with water of at least drinking water quality to remove cleaning agent residues. Avoid contact with aluminum. After cleaning, subsequent disinfection with, for example, perform® sterile alcohol IPA* is recommended.

  • The sterile spray system offers the following advantages:
    - particularly handy and space-saving
    - ergonomically shaped spray pump does not slip out of the gloved hand
    - sterile even after opening
    - The bottles are sterile (with irradiation indicator) and individually double-wrapped.

Notes on use in safety cabinets: For various reasons, spray disinfection with direct spraying onto the surfaces inside the safety cabinet is generally not immediately recommended, regardless of which agent you use (uneven surface wetting and distribution, filters and other areas with electronics should not be sprayed directly, high release as aerosols, which can also be harmful to health with some agents). What should be done in practice, however, is to spray these agents onto the wiping cloths until the cloths are well saturated. The surfaces can then be wiped clean evenly (or with other agents such as IPA wipe disinfection) without the aforementioned disadvantages of spray disinfection. The bench should be in operation; Berner safety cabinets have a cleaning mode for this purpose. Here you can also open the window further and permanently acknowledge the acoustic alarm.
